Our firm
About the practice.
Trading name and registration
Beige & Co is a trading name of Beige Companies Ltd, a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales under company number 16424615. Registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. The practice advises clients across the United Kingdom, the European Union, and Switzerland.
Nature of the work
The practice acts exclusively for private clients. Introductions through an existing professional contact are welcomed; direct enquiries about a defined matter are also considered, subject to a conflicts check before any work begins. We do not accept panel work, public-sector instructions, or open commercial mandates. Work is conducted under a written engagement letter that defines scope, named owner, fee basis, and the boundary between in-scope advisory work and any externally-instructed legal services. Decisions and reasoning are captured in a written record at the time, not reconstructed afterwards.
Use of this website
The content of this website is published for general information only. It is not legal advice, financial advice, regulatory advice, tax advice, or advice of any other kind, and no reliance should be placed on it without specific instructions to the practice in respect of a defined matter. Reading this website, sending an enquiry through the contact form, or any other unilateral act by a visitor does not create an advisor-client relationship and does not bring any matter within the scope of the practice's engagement.
References on this website to "we", "us", "the practice", "the firm", and "Beige & Co" are references to Beige Companies Ltd trading as Beige & Co, and not to any individual advisor in their personal capacity. No statement on this site should be read as a personal warranty or undertaking.
Service of legal process
Formal legal correspondence — service of process, court documents, statutory notices, and other formal legal correspondence — may be sent to [email protected]. Receipt must be confirmed by return from the practice; without that confirmation, no item is considered delivered or served. Hard service may also be effected at the registered office address shown above. Service via this website's contact form, or via any other informal email channel, is not effective and will not be acknowledged. The same rules apply to service from outside the United Kingdom under the Hague Service Convention 1965, the Hague Evidence Convention 1970, or any analogous bilateral instrument.
Confidentiality
Until a written engagement letter is in place, communications sent to the practice, including via the contact form on this website, are not protected by legal professional privilege (or its equivalent under the law of any other jurisdiction, such as the secret professionnel of an EU member state or Swiss attorney-client confidentiality). Visitors should not include privileged, highly sensitive, or third-party confidential material in initial enquiries. Where confidentiality is required before formal engagement, please request a non-disclosure agreement before sending detail.
Governing law and jurisdiction
This website and any matter arising from its use are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from the use of this site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This governs use of the website only. Any matter accepted under a written engagement letter is governed by the law and the dispute-resolution forum agreed in that engagement letter, which may be the law of an EU member state, of Switzerland, or of another jurisdiction.

Regulatory status
The practice is not a firm of solicitors, advocates, or other regulated legal practitioners. It is not authorised or regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority or any other approved regulator under the Legal Services Act 2007 (England and Wales), by any bar association in the European Union, or by the Swiss Bar Association or any cantonal bar. We do not hold ourselves out as solicitors, barristers, advocates, or licensed legal practitioners in any jurisdiction, and we do not provide reserved legal activities as defined by section 12 of the Legal Services Act 2007 or by any equivalent reserved-services regime elsewhere.
Where a matter requires reserved legal activities (including the conduct of litigation, rights of audience, reserved instrument activities, probate activities, notarial activities, or the administration of oaths), or where it engages the law of another jurisdiction, the practice instructs an external solicitor, barrister, or local-jurisdiction counsel on terms agreed in advance with the client. Specialist external advisors are engaged on a matter-by-matter basis and are managed by the named owner of the file.
